  1. Support a positive public image of the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School (DYRSD) district through the support, promotion, and implementation of the newly approved DYRSD Core Values of Equity, Excellence, Dignity, Integrity, and Community. The Committee will utilize the values when considering decisions related to policy, budget, and governance. 
  2. Ensure that every student feels safe, welcome, respected and appreciated within Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District. The Committee will ensure this by working with the superintendent to collect and review data from students and families related to access and belonging. The Committee will collaborate with the superintendent to use this data to:
    1. Establish a baseline for access and belonging within DYRSD
    2. Communicate results of the data collection and analysis with the school community at large
    3. Develop long and short range plans to respond to needs that arise from the data analysis
    4. Develop budget and/or policy priorities that respond to needs that arise from the data analysis
  3. Ensure for the health, safety, and security of every student and staff member of the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District. The Committee will accomplish this by working with the Superintendent and the Director of Finance and Operations to develop a Capital Improvement Plan that identifies the district’s short and long-term capital needs, prioritizes those needs, and establishes a plan for capital funding.
