Dear D-Y Community,

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our students, Gabriel Siqueira, a senior and valued member of our varsity soccer team, on Friday October 31. Gabriel was known for his energy, passion, and the inspiration he brought to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by his teammates, coaches, friends, and the entire D-Y community.

We understand that this loss will affect many of our students and staff. Support will be available at the high school beginning tomorrow and throughout the week for anyone who may need it as we process this difficult news together. 

We will share information about services or memorial arrangements as soon as it becomes available.

On behalf of the entire D-Y community, we offer our deepest condolences to Gabriel's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
