German Club

The German Club is a vibrant fun-loving community. Students do not have to be taking German in order to join this club - Everybody is welcome! This club promotes German language and culture through various activities and events such as e.g. the exchange trip to Germany, Schnitzelfest, holiday candle making, bake sales, the making of German holiday cards for senior citizens in nursing homes, helping the food pantry getting Thanksgiving meals ready and many other activities to support our community and to foster the German Program at DY. 

The German Club is a creative mixed bunch of all grade levels and probably the biggest club at DY with around 40 active club members. We meet weekly on Tuesdays after school.
