Message From the Superintendent

Welcome to the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District.

If this is your first time visiting our website, or you are a regular visitor, I hope that you are able to easily find what you are looking for. As a School District, we are in a constant state of growth and improvement, so if there is any feedback that you would like to provide us regarding our website, please leave us your thoughts by filling out the feedback form on our Contact Us page. 

If you are interested in learning about D-Y and have limited time, I might offer a few places to start exploring on our website. The District embarked, not too long ago, on a process to reimagine our Core Values. The product of that work is proudly displayed on our website and can be easily accessed through the buttons at the bottom of the Superintendent’s page. We are also in the midst of implementing a multi-year strategic plan. Our strategic plan has three main objectives:

1. Eliminate disparities in access and achievement for every student
2. Establish consistent district-wide systems to support organizational effectiveness
3. Address the District’s short and long-term facilities and capital needs

As with most plans, there are more details and initiatives that support the implementation of these big ideas. A full copy of our strategic plan can also be found linked on the bottom of this page. This is an important document as it (along with our Core Values) helps to understand what drives our decision-making here in D-Y. Finally, each of our six schools has its own dedicated set of pages on our website. I encourage you to visit their pages and learn about what makes each of them unique and special as well as see the similarities that make us all one united D-Y Dolphin Community. 

D-Y is a wonderful school community and there is so much here for me to be proud of as school Superintendent. I love that I have the privilege of coming to work here every day. I am inspired by our skilled and dedicated staff. I take pride in our diverse, engaged, talented and caring student body and the families that support them. I am awestruck by the regular support we receive from our community, and look forward to this District’s continued growth and success.
