NWEA MAP Assessment
MAP Growth is not a test of mastery of skills or knowledge. It is a test of READINESS by providing teachers with learning objectives and instructional groupings by MA Math and Literacy standards. Using Computerized Adaptive Testing software, it adapts test difficulty to the student’s performance, which allows for more accurate insight into each student’s performance and need. The reports generated reinforce strengths and identifies areas to improve. It also tracks growth over time.
