A Message to Our Families
Dear MES Families,
We are so excited for the opportunity to come together as a school community to celebrate our students at the Winter Concert on Monday, December 18th! Thank you to the Dennis-Yarmouth Intermediate Middle School for hosting us! Please see more details below! We would also like to share that the MES Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will be hosting a donation bake sale at the end of the concert! A lovely way to grab a sweet treat to celebrate our young performers. We hope to see you there!
Enjoy the weekend!
Warm regards,
Ms. Mahedy and Mrs. Carlson

MES Reading Night Highlights!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our MES Reading Night! We truly appreciate everything that Mrs. Peace, PTO members, and staff did to make this event such a HUGE success! The PTO raised $290 at the donation bake sale! Students and their families enjoyed swapping books, sharing read alouds with guest readers, and seeing each other! We have such an amazing school community!
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
MES is Responsible, Respectful, Ready, Caring, and Safe!
If students are seen demonstrating being responsible, respectful, ready, caring, and safe, they may be given a bead to recognize their positive behavior. In November and December, they have also been given a paper pumpkin, leaf, acorn, or apple that has been added to our school "harvest basket" hanging on the wall by our gymnasium. We currently have over 132 students recognized! Let's see how many more can be recognized next week!
How can you support at home? You can use the same language that we use; respectful, responsible, ready, caring, and safe and acknowledge that behavior at home. You can also periodically ask your child if they have received a bead or recognized recently and what they did to earn it.
