DYI Dolphin Report
March 3, 2024
A Message from the Principals
Welcome to what we hope is spring! We are springing into Parent Teacher Conference week. We hope you take advantage of the opportunity to come in and meet with your child's teachers. Conferences are Tuesday and Thursday. Both of these days are half days with no lunch being served. Parent Teacher conferences are a great way to reinforce our home to school connection. Over the past couple of weeks we had our practice test for MCAS which went smoothly. When we take the real English test, all of grades 4-7 will be testing at the same time. As you scroll below, you may notice some pictures from our first Dolphin Dollars award celebration. We are excited by the progress the students are making and will be looking to give students some choice in rewards in the weeks upcoming. In the immediate future, on Friday, March 8 we will have a spirit day. Wear any DY gear you have or just wear green and white. It will be fun to see who can be the “greenest” on Friday. Lastly, we just had two more classes finish their seashore experience. There are only two more classes to go. We are so lucky to be one of the three school districts on Cape Cod that has this experience. Best wishes and think spring!
Sincerely,
Mr. Blake, Dr. Greeson, and Mrs. Cleary

Dolphin Dollars
We will be starting our next round of Dolphin Dollars on Monday, March 4th. We will have the next reward towards the end of March. We will continue to look for students following the Dolphin Way:
🐬 Be Safe
🐬 Be Respectful
🐬 Be Responsible
🐬 Be Kind
This month we are also going to provide students with an opportunity to vote on what they would like their grade level or school reward to be!
Families can help by encouraging their students to follow the Dolphin Way!
Whole School Reward
All teams in Grade 4 and 5 earned $250 dolphin dollars for being safe, responsible, respectful and kind at lunch, recess and throughout our hallways and we celebrated by a whole school movie called LEO. We were so proud of how well the students behaved during the movie!
