The Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District, located on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, serves the towns of Dennis and Yarmouth. DY is a regional public school district educating over 3,100 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The district includes an Innovation School for grades 4 and 5, a middle school for grades 6 and 7, and a grade 8 accelerated learning program at DY Regional High School.

The communities of Dennis and Yarmouth are located approximately 75 miles from Boston and Providence. Dennis, named the All American Town in 1978, features scenic historic villages and lovely beaches and has a population of 14,207 residents. The Cape Museum of Fine Arts, Cape Playhouse, and Cape Cinema are all located on a campus-like setting on scenic Route 6A in Dennis.

Yarmouth is the second oldest town on Cape Cod and is filled with historic charm. Yarmouth is comprised of three villages: Yarmouth Port, South Yarmouth, and West Yarmouth. It has a population of 24,807 residents. The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, located in South Yarmouth, offers cultural and artistic instruction, entertainment, and exhibitions.

Cape Cod is a major tourist center offering numerous fresh and saltwater beaches, golf courses challenging all levels, and many hiking and conservation trails. The Cape is also home to many well-developed business districts throughout the villages which provide ample goods and services.
