DYI Dolphin Report
March 31, 2024
A Message from the Principals
Happy Easter! We hope everyone has been able to enjoy the long weekend. As we close in on being at our new school for a full year, we want to thank everyone for the substantial commitment people have made in our school. We are very lucky to teach and learn in such an environment. Our next Dolphin Dollars award focus will be on the care of our building. As a school community, we could do better in taking care of what has been given to us. We will be speaking to students to reestablish simple expectations about picking up after oneself. Whether it is in the cafeteria, lobby or the restroom, we could all do a little more in making sure we treat the building with the utmost respect.
In the upcoming week we have the solar eclipse. We are working on an optional activity for our school since the eclipse will take place as we are leaving for the school day. Stay tuned for some details and scroll down for some safety tips on the eclipse.
Lastly, it did take a little while to upload the music, yet the Honors Band performances from the Providence Bruins game has been uploaded to the DYI YouTube channel which you can find at @dyintermediate. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and enjoy some of our Honors Band performances. Thank you all for your continued support and think spring, it has to warm up sometime!
Sincerely,
Mr. Blake, Dr. Greeson, and Mrs. Cleary
