FY 2018 Open Enrollment Notice

Open enrollment for the insurance plans begins April 24th for an effective date of July 1, 2017 and all the paperwork must be in to the Employee Benefits office no later than May 24, 2017. Open enrollment will be your only opportunity to add/terminate/change your insurance plans unless you experience a “qualifying event” (Some examples include loss of coverage, marriage, birth or adoption of a child, divorce or loss of dependent).

The health, dental, vision and life insurance premiums for FY 2018 are attached and will begin with the June 8, 2017 paycheck.

Benefits Fair

The annual Benefit Fairs will be held on Tuesday, April 25th from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm at the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in the small cafeteria. Representatives from the insurance companies (health, dental, vision, life, disability plans) will be available to answer any questions. Abacus Health Solutions will discuss My Medication Advisor (the alternative prescription plan - $0 copays).

In addition you’ll be able to get important information from Barnstable County Retirement, Employee Assistance Plan, tax deferred 403(b) and 457 deduction plans. Cafeteria Plan Advisors will be here to discuss Flexible Spending Plans and the Health Reimbursement Arrangement.

Biometric Screenings brought to you by Cape Cod Municipal health Group will offer vision and hearing assessments, blood pressure, pulse, bone density, blood glucose, cholesterol, skin assessment-UV Damage, waist measurement, weight, body mass index and health recipes/nutrition information.
